The weather's been good for a couple days, so I looked up at the cumulonimbus clouds It's a languid kind of clear out there; I slowly close my eyes It seems as if "that" is something that can't be remembered so easily I simply drowned within the reality of us having gotten older In our pretend adult strategies, we came up with such strange signals "Let's go, we're in a war today too", standing up to it, I took your hand The impossible starts to become possible, having solitude forced upon me Having become lost, I felt as if I would slip into melancholy Parting the tall grass, I glared at the blurry sun You said it just like that: "If you're lonely, then come here" That noisiness knocked on the door, and even those feelings that were born Came to mind and withered away; "Is this all just an illusion?" Gathering at our secret base, sharing a simple "How fun this is", While reminiscing on those times, let's have a nice talk The vapor trails spread above, and we cried out "It's so dazzling", I wonder, what kind of expression did you have then? For some reason, I can't recall Reality kept sprinting on, at a pace that seemed to hurt The today that we picked is ordinary, yet still feels as if it could crumble Yesterday and today are mere extensions of the game; even adults are plenty cowardly And in this moment, it feels as if we might have finally realized it The idea of a spinning world, under the blazing sun it withers The heat haze wavering, saying "Don't forget; now, just keep going" In frustration, I dreamt of tomorrow over and over again To the world that we can't come back from, that lays ahead; "Let's change it together" "Remember: that it's all over. That secret base, and our adventures." And all of the stories that came about when we got lost back then The children's plan, that came about from the gathering of loners Once again began its execution; "Let's meet, somewhere, again." We said to each other: "It's so cool out", underneath the clear summer skies Let's take a deep breath so we don't cry, and say our farewells Those summer days spent laughing together in our secret base "If we remember it again, maybe we can meet again, somewhere"; with those words I can draw it, again and again
